Paver Material & Base Volume Formula

Total Pavers = ⌈(Project Area ÷ Single Paver Area) × (1 + Waste %)⌉

Project area is calculated according to the chosen geometry. Single paver area includes the joint spacing allowance on all sides. Dividing project area by the effective paver area gives the net paver count. A cutting waste allowance (typically 10% for running bond, 12-15% for herringbone or curved edges) is added to account for border cuts and perimeter trimming.
